Global Climate Crisis: Responsibility and Impact
At Helios, we are developing advanced carbon capture technologies that remove CO₂ from industrial sources and reintroduce it into greenhouse environments. By doing so, we not only reduce carbon emissions but also enhance plant productivity, creating a direct bridge between climate technology and agriculture.
This connection has been recognized internationally and we are proud to share that we have been selected as one of ten startups from Türkiye to join the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) 2024 Program, organized by EIT Food. Over the next six months, we will take part in tailored mentoring, training, and networking activities designed to strengthen women-led ventures shaping the future of food systems.
Our work in linking carbon capture to agriculture also led us to be invited to the We Lead Food Türkiye event, where we had the opportunity to meet pioneering women entrepreneurs and sector leaders. By sharing our ideas and engaging in discussions, we explored how climate technology can actively contribute to sustainable food systems and future collaborations.
The majority of Turkey’s greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy, industry,
transportation, and agriculture sectors.
For us, these achievements represent more than program participation or event attendance. They are proof that our efforts for capturing carbon to create tangible value for agriculture resonates across various disciplines. That is why we remain committed to advancing climate-tech solutions that connect energy, environment, and food security, and we look forward to sharing the outcomes of this journey.
